Alexander Krasilshchikov is an Israeli artist, born in Vitebsk, Belarus, in 1962. He studied at the Art and Graphics Faculty of the Vitebsk Pedagogical Institute and has lived in Israel since 1990.
Working in oil painting and graphic art, he creates images shaped by memory, Jewish culture and the quiet poetry of everyday life. His figures often inhabit a space between the familiar and the imagined, where ordinary gestures acquire a symbolic and timeless quality.
Alongside his work as an artist, Krasilshchikov is a sofer STaM, writer and translator. His artistic outlook is rooted in the idea of the picture as a window into a created world — intimate, contemplative and open to discovery.
The prints presented in this store are produced from his original artworks.
